Being Human

                     is Al Makan's grassroots work in response to the Beirut blast in August 2020. With help from over 50 volunteers on the ground, we were able to help over 200 families who were directly impacted by the blast by house repairs, medical assistance, and small business repairs. The physical repairs required emotional support as well, we helped 80 children and youth through trauma therapy and psychosocial care.
